Now that Audrey is making short sentences, she says the funniest things. I wanted to capture some of my favorites.
"Audrey try it!" or "Audrey do it!" - she is becoming very independent now and always want to do things herself, like brushing her teeth, putting on her shoes, washing herself in the bath and more.
"K!" - this is her version of "okay" and she says it when she wants to do something. ex. "Audrey, do you want some applesauce?" Audrey - "K!"
"Read this book!" She loves to read.
"Audrey drive!" Audrey and I went to lunch with my parents a few weeks ago and I had to run into the store to get something. While I was in the store, my parents said that she said "Mama drive. Audrey drive!" Too funny!
"Gaga broke it!" The other day while we were brushing Audrey's teeth, I noticed her toothbrush holder was broken. Gaga had been at the house watching Audrey that day. So I asked Audrey what happened to her toothbrush holder and without hesitation she said "Gaga broke it." So I asked Gaga what happened and she said she didn't break it! We still don't know how it broke, but Gaga was sad that Audrey threw her under the bus!
"Again!" Anytime we do something she likes or something she thinks is funny, she says "Again!" She say it over and over again. Today while she was eating, she leaned her head back and I tickled her neck. She laughed and said "again!"
"Deer again please!" Last week, Audrey was staying with Gaga and Papa and they were in the basement playing on the pool table (she loves to play with the balls). Two deer walked right up to the window and apparently Audrey was pretty mesmerized by them. She had never seen them in person, let alone that close up! After the walked away she said "Deer again please!"
"Bless You, Dada!" Ever since Audrey was little, we've always said "bless you" when she sneezes. The other day out of the blue, Scott sneezed and she said "Bless you, dada!" So funny what they can pick up on.
"Thank You, Mama!" She has finally started saying thank you without being prompted and it's pretty sweet to hear.
